LOOKING FORWARD and WORKING TOWARD The
Mission The Mission. The Mission. The Mission.
It is all about the Mission. Very often, we can get
sidetracked with all that is going on at the
Tabernacle. But every thing we do is and must be
about the Mission. Jesus said in Matthew 28 that
we are to go into the world and make disciples.
This is the one thing we need to be about. This is
the one that we will build the church on. This is the
one thing that will be the determining factor of how
we do things around the church. This Mission. IT
CAN BE DONE!

Meeting the Needs of the Least of These
The Tabernacle Feeds the homeless
Led by the Missionaries, Mt Sinai fed and fellowshipped
with a nearby homeless shelter that catered to the needs
of women and children. It was a powerful move of God
as the people of God demonstrated what it means to meet
the needs of least of these. It is a powerful thing,
especially in these difficult economic times, whenever the
Church responds in a relevant way to what's going on in
the world. Come be a part of a church that is really
seeking to serve and better the world around us

WE ARE A PART OF GOD'S FAMILY. Who can deny the importance of family? Minister Jackie Lyde and I have often said, "Ministry to family is the FIRST ministry..." So many who become a Christian, join the church, or start preaching and/or pastoring invest everything into ministry to the neglect of home life. This is why BALANCE is so important. We believe that an important part of being healthy and whole is to maintain a balance. A mentor of ours, Rev. Cathy M Johnson, Assistant Pastor of Triumph Baptist Church, always instilled in

us during our internships to "Never sacrifice your family on the altar of ministry.
We thank God for each other and for the wonderful daughters God has blessed us
with.In addition, one of the blessed things is that Mt Sinai truly is a FAMILY. The
Tabernacle is a body of believers who are loving, faithful, caring and close-knit.
Even from the church's beginning it has been about family. To this day, you will
feel the love in the atmosphere when you walk in. Mt Sinai is more than just a
building where we gather for worship... it is also a close knit fellowship of people
who live as family... IT CAN BE DONE!
Launched in January 2009 as a part of the Vision to minister to the hurts, needs and
interests of whole woman, the Women's Ministry a vibrant group of women who are
seeking to lifting women as they climb. Be on the lookout for the ministry events they
